Capturing the beauty and majesty of nature has always been a fascination of mine. I grew up in south western Ontario for most of my life around the great lakes. It made for some pretty terrific scenery, but was nothing compared to what I was in for next.

     I now currently reside in Banff, Alberta, and I couldn't be more at home... My whole life I have always been intrigued and impressed by scenes from movies or pictures I would see of these amazing snow capped mountain peaks, with streams of glistening untainted water running through the valleys below. Never in my life did I think I would end up calling a place like this home.

    In my off time I try to get out and do as much hiking, camping, canoeing, even scenic drives; always looking for a great shot. Photography has been an obsession of mine since I can remember, but I have only started to take it seriously over the last few years.

   I find you get a strange exhilaration from capturing a truly beautiful and unique moment in nature and preserving it for others to see, which is one of the many reasons I fell in love with photography.
